Re: New entry guidelines for the Democratic Republic of Congo compared with COVID- 19.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Taking into account the positive developments in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and having regard to Circular Note n°1250/CAB/MIN/SPHP/001/DC/GSK/2022 of 09/02/2022 from His Excellency the Minister of Public Health, Hygiene and Prevention. This Circular Note supplements and modifies Circular Note n°06/DGM/DG/291/022 of 11/02/2022 relating to the conditions of entry into and exit from the national territory as part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic:
- Mandatory compliance with the provisions laid down by Decree No. 20/023 of 1ᵉʳ October 2020 of His Excellency the Prime Minister, Head of Government on barrier measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo;
- All travellers entering or leaving France must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test carried out in the country of origin within 48 hours;
- Obligation to undergo a PC test carried out by approved services on entering the country;
- Repeal of the ban on boarding passengers from or to transiting India and Brazil decreed by Note n°06/DGM/DG/763/021 from 08/05/2021.
